Case study · AI Visibility Audit

We built A1 to be found
by AI from day one.

Most businesses have no idea whether ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity recommend them, flying blind at the exact moment discovery moves into AI. We build the other way. A1 Auto Styling's website was engineered to be machine-readable from the ground up, and after launch we proved it with a full AI Visibility Audit: a real score, scored across five levers, benchmarked against their competitors.

The proof
65/100GEO Visibility Score · GREEN

A single, honest number, and top-quartile on the two levers a build actually controls. This is the part most sites get wrong before AI ever sees them.

Structure

19/20

Schema, clean markup, one H1 per page, an llms.txt, the machine-readable foundation that decides whether AI can read you at all. Most sites fail here and can’t easily retrofit it. A1 was built for it.

Monitoring

19/20

A visibility baseline and drift detection, in place from launch, so we’re watching whether AI picks A1 up, not guessing.

The remaining three levers, Corpus, Authority and Measurement, are the ones that compound over time, not overnight. Authority is earned over months; measurement sharpens as live data flows in. A1 starts with the foundation and the plan to climb them. That head start is the whole point of building AI-ready from the start.

Why this beats a dashboard

A number is easy. Knowing what to do about it is the job.

Plenty of tools will hand you an “AI visibility score” and leave you there. A1 got the number and the answer: which moves lift it fastest, in what order, and why, a prioritised 90-day plan, not a dashboard to stare at.

And because we built the site AI-ready from the ground up, the hard, expensive part, the machine-readable foundation most sites fail on, was already done. That's the top-quartile structure score. Everything else is a clear climb from a strong base.

No smoke

We measure signals, not guarantees.

Here's something most of this industry won't say out loud: AI citation is probabilistic. Changes take weeks to surface, and nobody controls what a model says. We build and measure the signals that correlate with getting recommended, we don't promise an outcome, and neither should anyone else.

Expect the first measurable lift around week 8–10, not week 1. Anyone promising faster is selling you something.

You can't fix what you can't see.

Start with a Check, a fast, honest snapshot of whether AI mentions you, benchmarked against your three closest competitors. Most businesses have never had that number. In a couple of days, you will.
