Nobody publishes this, so we did: in July 2026 we checked 28 UK providers selling GEO, AEO or AI-visibility services. Only 13 publish any price at all. Here is the full map, from free checkers to £10,000 a month, as bands with counts rather than a scoreboard of names · the purpose is a picture of the market, not a league table.
Automated AI-visibility checkers and free audit offers. Useful first signals; they end in a sales conversation. Several UK providers and one open-standard project run these.
Productised one-off diagnostics with published prices. Mode’s AI Visibility Check at £95 was the cheapest paid diagnostic we found anywhere in the UK market; the band runs through £149 snapshots to a £349 24-hour audit. Roughly eight UK providers are genuinely productised at SMB prices.
Full audits and setups, published: our £295 Audit and £595 Setup sit here, alongside a £295 discovery-files setup (narrower scope) and a £995 five-day audit at the top of the published band.
Agency-tier AI-visibility audits, occasionally advertised, usually quote-confirmed. Above this, one-off pricing disappears behind “book a call”.
The productised monthly lane: a £149/mo UK SaaS bundle at the floor, Mode’s GEO Monitor at £195/mo, then agency GEO subscriptions clustering £450 to £800 (several exclude VAT · check the basis).
Mid-market to “market leader” agency retainers. This is also where guarantee marketing appears (doubled citations, refund-if-not-featured) · treat outcome guarantees on probabilistic systems with suspicion; the T&Cs do the escaping.
Global self-serve monitoring software: $29 entry monitors, ~$95-300 mid tiers, SEO-suite add-ons at $99 (Semrush) to $398-699 (Ahrefs Brand Radar, on top of a base plan). These MEASURE only; none implements changes on your site.
The venture-funded platforms and holding-company practices. All quote-only, all monitoring-and-recommendations first. At this tier nobody publishes a price at all.
Source: Mode Marketing market survey, July 2026 · 28 UK providers with GEO/AEO/AI-visibility offerings checked directly, plus the global tool and enterprise-platform tiers · prices as published on each provider's site at survey date; VAT bases vary and are noted where material · aggregated deliberately (CAP-compliant: no small-business league table). Refreshed as the market moves.
Three different products share the GEO label, and the hundredfold price spread makes sense once you separate them. Monitoring (does AI mention you?) is software, it is cheap, and it is racing toward free. Diagnosis (what exactly should you fix, and in what order?) is judgment, and it is the mid band. Implementation (someone actually doing the schema, structure, entity and content work on your site) is the scarce part · most of the market, including the venture-funded platforms, stops at recommendations.
Two buyer warnings from the survey. First, check the VAT basis: much of the agency tier quotes ex VAT, so a “£450 a month” programme is £540 in real money. Second, this is the one corner of the market where outcome guarantees have reappeared (doubled citations, refunds if not featured). AI answers are probabilistic; the honest version of this entire industry is measured signals, not promised outcomes · our evidence review on guarantees collects what the research actually shows.
In July 2026 Mode checked 28 UK providers offering GEO/AEO/AI-visibility services: published one-off diagnostics run £95 to £995 (Mode’s £95 AI Visibility Check was the cheapest paid entry found), published monthly services run £149 to £10,000 per month, and self-serve monitoring tools run $29 to $699 per month. Above roughly £3,000 per month the market is entirely quote-only. Sources collected and dated; aggregates published rather than a scoreboard of names.
Because three different things share one label. Monitoring tools (software that tracks whether AI mentions you) are cheap and racing cheaper. Diagnosis (a human telling you what to fix and why) is the mid band. Implementation (someone actually changing your site’s structure, schema, entity signals and content) is the scarce part, and at SMB prices it is nearly unavailable: most of the market above £1,000 a month is still monitoring plus recommendations.
Treat them as marketing devices. AI answers are probabilistic: research collected in Mode’s evidence review found under a 1% chance that the same prompt returns the same brand list twice, and cited domains churn 40 to 60% per month. The guarantees on the market are refund mechanics hedged in terms and conditions, not control over what an AI says. Nobody can promise a citation; anyone can promise to give money back under conditions they define.
Published, fixed, VAT included, buyable online: AI Visibility Check £95, AI Visibility Audit £295, AI Visibility Setup £595 (the implementation, not just a report), and no-contract monthly plans at £195, £495 and £995. Honest scope: we measure and improve the signals AI systems read; nobody can guarantee what an AI will say, including us.
The Check tells you whether AI mentions you and what to fix first, benchmarked against your three closest competitors. The Setup actually implements the fixes · the part almost nobody sells at these prices.
AI VISIBILITY CHECK · £95Honest by design: we measure signals, not guarantees. The full GEO ladder.
